This book about the ongoing conflict in the Ukraine avoids the common clichés. The war is present in the photos by Florian Rainer without showing it explicitly. The book is structured by the stops of the authors' roadtrip – each chapter has its own shade of grey. The reduced layout serves as an adequate frame for the texts and the photographs.
